You will see the back of a Food Lion on the left as you approach a stop light. Turn Right at the stop light on to Old 421. Go about a mile. Turn right on to Don Hayes Rd–its actually thru a church parking lot. (Rutherwood Baptist Church). Follow the road for about a half mile and you will go under the Blueridge Parkway. The MST trail is on both sides of the parkway. After you go under the Parkway go to the top of the Hill. Turn Right on to Rutherwood Meadows. Veer Left on to Foggy Ln.

There's about 3 1/2 miles of river frontage there. The place is rich in animal and plant life. A large percentage of Toddsbury is in cultivation and is farmed by a local farmer.
