Living the adventure set before us…. One of those days. I should be folding laundry right now. But after “one of those days” I just needed to do something else. Something that I had time for before I had a baby. So here I am.🙂. Today was the first time where I distinctly noticed a lack of desire to be a Mom. The recipe I used is:. 5 1/2 C flour. 1 1/2 c cornstarch. 6 t baking powder. 1 1/2 t salt. 1 t black pepper. 1 1/2 t ground cardamom. 1 1/2 t ground cinnamon. 3/4 t ground cloves. 3 c butter or margarine. 3/4 t vanilla extract. 3/4 c cream or canned milk. 2 c finely chopped blanched almonds (I omitted these). Sarah encouraged me to rest as much as I could in case labor came later in the day. In the end I got three naps that day.😉 my parents watched Josiah a lot! Sarah asked if I would like to be checked. I was 9cm and effaced! I felt the progress I was making! I looked at the clock and saw that it was 11:something. I wanted this baby tonight ...
