Personal blog mostly about computer gaming. Skip to primary content. Comments now turned off. October 2, 2014. I have turned off the ability to comment on posts on this blog. I was getting 100-200 spam comments a day, and they were arriving in ‘bursts’. Although Akismet was doing a fine job the bursts of spam were spiking the CPU load and causing problems. I will think about a better commenting system, but to be honest I wasn’t getting many (genuine not spam) comments anyway! This entry was posted in Tech.
