As I head into the sixth week since the surgery, I had my first PT appointment today. I'll be going in 3x/week for four weeks. I wish I took a foot photo before I got new tape today - the incision has closed up, there are no more stitches or scabs, and I'm working on the scar with Neosporin and massage. It's more of a crispy cookie than I normally like, but I still managed to eat much more than I should have. 1 cup butter or margarine. 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed. 1/4 cup white sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 cup boiling water. 2 cups quick-cooking oats. 1/2 cup raisins (optional).
