Handmade Accessories and kids' clothes. December 9, 2010. What a busy day. Finally all the craft events are over for this year and it seemed like crazy days were calming down, but no, no, no. I actually have a day to day tasks other than house work even though I am a stay-at -home-mom. Lots of sewing and thinking, designing (this is the most time consuming and the most difficult part). Thanks to Christmas and the customers who adore my creations, I am getting busier and busier. I had so much fun:). I pro...

Handmade Accessories and kids' clothes. July 21, 2011. Clay roses are my favorite and so as my customer's but since I have been doing nails these days, making clay accessories with long nails were challenging. Luckily or not, I broke my right index finger nail so I sculpted clay before I fix my nail. It's been a while since I made clay accessories so I had fun making them. As some of you know, I use oven clay, usually called polymer clay. You shape them and bake them in a oven to harden.

Handmade Accessories and kids' clothes. October 25, 2010. There is less than a week until the event at EJCA. But before that, I have a stack of orders to finish. Here is a couple of the order made pieces. Dupioni silk, antique lace, velvet leaves, french netting, antique earring, black goose feathers). Shabby chic head band. (dupioni silk, french netting, white goose feathers, antique look pearly button). These french netting and feathers make a big difference: add extra elegance and a touch of softness.

SaSa: 2012!
http://sasa-handmade.blogspot.com/2012/02/2012.html
Handmade Accessories and kids' clothes. February 8, 2012. I know I am very late to say this, but Happy New Year! I am going to slow down on making random stuff this year, and just work on orders and my own stuff. These are what I have made so far this year. Cushion covers for the chair in my living room. I am rearranging and changing deco in my house, and I decided to go with Scandinavian and Japanese mix style which means less stuff! Simple and airy, natural. I made one long cover that fits two cushions.

SaSa: More Clay Stuff
http://sasa-handmade.blogspot.com/2011/08/more-clay-stuff_12.html
Handmade Accessories and kids' clothes. August 12, 2011. I got more clay accessory orders. I made the earrings a little bit bigger than usual. The hardest thing is making colors. I always mix colors to make the color I want, but sometimes it takes more time than sculpting, actually making shapes. Because of this reason, I can't make the same colors but I can try making the closest colors you want. This time, I think I did very well :). Hydrangea is one of my favorite flowers. Handmade Accessories and kids' clothes. June 19, 2011. It took me forever to update this blog as I am so into nails. I still take some orders and sew stuff here and there. I made a pair of monkey pants for my friend who was going to attend her friend's baby shower. And shortly after that, my other friend ordered a set of Jinbei that's also for her friend's baby shower. It feels really nice when people remember my handmade clothing when they need something unique and special. Another view of the Jinbei.
