Sunday, February 1, 2009. A Little Bit Neurotic? Emma likes to line up her toys. She's very particular about it, too. If one of them falls over she gets really upset, throws herself on the floor, and screams. The funny thing is that Isaac used to do the same thing with his toys (minus the screaming). Oh, and see all those stuffed animals in the top picture? Emma sleeps with ALL of those in her crib. And she knows if even one of them is missing. They must ALL be there, ALL the time. Craziness!

A day in the life of a middling star. Sunday, June 21, 2015. We love the MALLOTTS! The kids with Chloe in a bobsled at Utah Olympic Park. Esther after the Ropes Course (she was my my only kid that didn't cry and chicken out). Isaac melted down on his first attempt at the rope course and backed out. Bennett was sweet to go with him for his second attempt and walk him through each obstacle. Isaac ADORED hanging out with Bennett. Did I mention Zion is BEAUTIFUL! Our hot hiking crew. A day in the life of a middling star. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Isaac had his kindergarten graduation this week. He sang several Chinese songs and got a medal. He could not believe he got a medal! He might be wearing it all summer. Isaac did a great job in kindergarten despite being one of the youngest, but tallest kids. He LOVED his teachers and can't wait for 1st grade. . Friday, December 21, 2012. Max and Kate are at a really fun age. They have made the holidays so magical for me. I love their excitement and amazement over all the lights and decorations. As a family, we went to Hot Springs to Garvan Gardens to see the light display. We had a fantastic time. The weather was mild enough that we didn't need to wear gloves, and as a bonus Santa was there! Max was extremely happy to see Santa. He couldn't stop smiling and giving him hugs and loves! Max is a train conductor.

The Tall and Short of It. Saturday, January 10, 2009. Helpful weight loss tactic. With our family's Biggest Looser competition going on, Jenny encouraged me to mention what has worked for me in case it can help others looking to increase their percentage of fat loss. All though I didn't loose the most weight, I fared about average (4lbs.). Considering I am not breaking my back doing anything very strenuous or drastic, that's not too bad. Thursday, June 6, 2013. May and June 2013. While we waited for Rob, Max practiced tying knots. Before leaving the campsite. Kate cried the whole hike bike. She was really tired too! We made it to the car, extracted a few more ticks, and started home. I decided to post my best "grumpy" face! Rob celebrated his 30th birthday this year! Kids were both delighted to help decorate and celebrate his birthday. Rob by his packages. Max found this hat that says #1 Dad! Blowing out 30 candles! He got them all!
