Mason Highlights: April 2013
http://themichaelmasonfamily.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 20, 2013. Our First Weekend Back Home. One of the first things we noticed when we arrived home was the appearance of our yard. It never was anything to write home about in the first place, but now it was barren of grass and had unsightly clumps of weeds throughout it. This was thanks to a few extremely hot months with no rain, as well as not having it regularly taken care of in our absence. So what do we do? I think our beautiful palm tree has about "bit the dust! Sunday evenings we usual...

Mason Highlights: March 2013
http://themichaelmasonfamily.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 23, 2013. Soit's been forever since I posted! How is it that time can slip so quickly out of our grasp? I've been wanting to do some "posts in review" so that everyone can be up to date with all the highlights from the past 8 months or so, but I've had a hard time knowing where to begin. I guess that's what happens when you get so far behind! For now, I'll just do this short post with the condensed version of our current plans. These last few months have been a time of much needed rest an...

Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Capturing December: Day 31. New Year's Eve }. Yesterday was the last day for these Capturing December. It's actually been quite a challenge to do something unique or (hopefully) interesting every day! Today I just want to share about our New Year's Eve service we held last night in the mountains at our church in Santo Domingo. A small group from our Tapachula church also drove up to join us. Below is a fuzzy pic that we got that will give you a little idea of what we saw!

Friday, November 29, 2013. Summer 2013 : Review. Our summer was most definitely a busy time! The kids and I spent most of the summer trying to finish up the 2012/2013 school year. We had gotten terribly behind during our time of deputation and then our transition back to the field. There were about 15 students that attended between the four classes. The classes we offered: Elements of Music, Fundamentals of the Faith, Christian Orientation, and New Testament Survey. We couldn't figure out what was wrong,...

Just An Ordinary Guy. As the title suggests, I'm just an ordinary kind of guy! I enjoy life and think everyone else should too. I want this blog to be a place for myself and others to relax. On March 17, we went to a first birthday party for Caemon Sickler. Caemon seemed a little overwhelmed at first. Caemon figuring out his new four-wheeler. At the presen...

Friday, December 27, 2013. Capturing December: Day 27. So today, I started a new quilt blog! Yeah, I know.I have a hard enough time keeping up with this one, but I decided I wanted this family/ministry blog to be separate from all my quilting/crafty posts.
