Wednesday, June 1, 2011. We headed to The Woodlands, Texas for the inaugural Ironman Texas. We rented a house near the course. The girls and I enjoyed mother/daughter time shopping, eating and relaxing while David prepared for the race. It felt like a vacation to us. Here we are at Sweet and Sassy. Getting our nails done. Making signs for race day. I just thought this picture was cute. Race morning and we were able to find David before the race. And they are off! On the bike course.

Once in a while, when their day is on a weekend, we might do a special outing or something. Noelle and I made cookies together and went to the mall where she bought a collar for her. Build-a-bear dog with a gift certificate she got for her birthday. Will be fun to do someday but for now we just had daddy take a few.

Plowman Party of Six. My Lil Super Hero. Dylan loves to be a super hero. Sometimes its a mix of a few, sometime its a completely made up one but most often its Spider-Man. The full outfit with muscles, mask and glove that makes web shooting noises. Ains and Z had their annual fun run at school last week. My Life With Two Darling Girls, Taylor JOY and Addison GRACE. Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Fair warning.this is going to be a long post and lots of pictures. I'm doing this partly so others can see what the last week and a half was like for our family, but also as a sort of journal for myself of the events due to snow, ice, wind, etc. Basically our family was housebound from Sunday January 15th - Tuesday January 24th. We just got internet, phone and cable back this evening so we are now back to "normal".
