The UK Ministry of Defense is developing the new uniforms, enhanced with solar photovoltaic cells. That are woven directly into the fabric for infantry soldiers. This solar technology will be used to power vital equipment. Such as radio, GPS and weapons. The aim is to design a wearable uniform that produces energy from sunlight. Devices to capture the soldier’s body heat.
