Zombie Dinosaurs: May 2013
http://zombie-dinosaurs.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 25, 2013. Behind the scenes for "Saves the Day". Here are some more behind-the-scenes rough work when I was prepping the latest scene, Saves the Day. In any case, I'd like to think this played out well in this scene, when Mugabe expects he can threaten her to save himself, when in reality (in every other instance when Casey isn't in berzerker mode) Evelyn is by far the more dangerous captive. I hope you're enjoying it! Links to this post. Tomb of the Undead. Saturday, May 11, 2013. Behind-t...

Zombie Dinosaurs: Dinosaur Man, vol. 2 - The Unhappy Visitors
http://zombie-dinosaurs.blogspot.com/2014/09/dinosaur-man-vol-2-unhappy-visitors.html
Thursday, September 18, 2014. Dinosaur Man, vol. 2 - The Unhappy Visitors. For today's Throw-back Thursday, here's the second, classic edition of Dinosaur Man. Vol.2 The Unhappy Visitors. It's still terrible, and basically, it's just some jerk who beats up other dinosaurs. Granted, it would appear their social circles and societal decisions were fairly primitive, so perhaps this is simply how dinosaurs behave - - running around in herds prepared to beat each other up. Zombie Dinosaurs: Boogers, Sorcery, Bidets and Shitty Diapers
http://zombie-dinosaurs.blogspot.com/2013/11/boogers-sorcery-bidets-and-shitty.html
Friday, November 1, 2013. Boogers, Sorcery, Bidets and Shitty Diapers. My Jack-o-lanterns are from "The Shining" this year. If there were ever a series of gags worthy of my Definitely Classy banner, this was it. Snot rockets (the horrible locker-room scene good men suffer through while someone on the ball diamond has to clear his nose, . .uggh. The joke wasn't hilarious, but it was something I had to get off my chest, I suppose. I Stink At Financing" is taken to another level in Business Man @ Home, too ...

Zombie Dinosaurs: 3 Takeaways from November
http://zombie-dinosaurs.blogspot.com/2013/12/guacamole-phonebooks-schedules-and.html
Thursday, December 5, 2013. 3 Takeaways from November. What was I thinking. When I did some of this stuff? Well, almost as important is what do I think of it now, too. Multiple panels can aid comedic timing. Don't restrict yourself to only single-panel comics. Give yourself the space for artistic expression. You need space to tell your story. Hand lettering can give you the specific intonation in each word and letter, leading to a more specific reading of your text. No, it wasn't very timely, but I think...

Zombie Dinosaurs: This Is It - Behind the Scenes
http://zombie-dinosaurs.blogspot.com/2013/11/this-is-it-behind-scenes.html
Friday, November 22, 2013. This Is It - Behind the Scenes. Some behind the scenes stuff for the "This Is It" scene - - as I've probably mentioned in every post, I had to rewrite quite a bit of the third act to add some "pay offs" and reveal what was necessary for things to make sense - - in any case, I've noticed now that I'm looking back over everything, that my inspiration for the names of each scene was definitely waning. You can find the finished scene at this link: just click here! If you've any que...

Zombie Dinosaurs: October 2013
http://zombie-dinosaurs.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 25, 2013. I've had a bunch of these pics adding up, and figured I'd post 'em. UpVote on Reddit, Follow on Twitter and Like on Facebook! Links to this post. Friday, October 11, 2013. Narrative and Character Development behind the Temptation of Howard Bolam pt. 2. The Temptation of Howard Bolam was an interesting moment in the story to intentionally set our two protagonists against each other for a moment to explore how far they've developed since the beginning of their tale. And at the sam...

Thursday, September 11, 2014. TBT Dinosaur Man, vol. 1. For today's Throw-back Thursday, I figured I'd go back and dig up some of the oldest, more embarrassing stuff I can get my hands on, and then show it to you. So, without further ado, Witness to the origin story for Dinosaur Man, circa 1992. Labels: 11 year old. September 11, 2014 at 7:09 AM. Its always fun to see old art. It helps you see progress! Zombie Dinosaurs: November 2013
http://zombie-dinosaurs.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 29, 2013. Short Cuts and Execution. Sometimes I go through a stretch where you look back at what you've done, and you're not entirely proud of it . and this pasta joke is one of them. Definitely an err in judgement. While it's funny when it happens to someone else, it's hardly a well-written joke. And it wasn't especially well drawn, nor was it particularly well coloured, and no gag was written along with it to add any special value. So there's another lesson learned. Here's. If that hap...

Zombie Dinosaurs: July 2013
http://zombie-dinosaurs.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 26, 2013. Guest Strip for The Comic Community. I had a neat opportunity to write a guest strip for a webcomic writer I'd discovered on Twitter, which was a first of its kind for me. Check it out here. I hadn't produced a comic for another site before (although the Fundraising Faux-Pas. Series was designed with a fundraising consultant in mind). Simply tweeted out to see if anyone were interested in drawing a guest strip, and I jumped at the chance. Shortly we connected, mostly via Facebook.
