Wednesday, 20 January 2010. This video was produced by Michelle, Jess, Tricia, Sinead and Ceri on a film and sound workshop in Cardiff Bay as part of the Soundtrack Film Festival in November 2009. They shot images around the bay, created their own soundtracks, and then edited the images to match the soundtracks. Nice Workshop by entire MJTSC Team on film and sound workshop. Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Another weekend working in Brussels (or rather, Tervuren). Lots of Flemish food and drink. I decided to stay over in Brussels itself on Sunday night, with the aim of checking out Matonge, the African quarter - I'd decided not to try the main salsa night (La Tentation) as I did my knee in last year dancing on the uneven floor. Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Great to have a regular rueda night again, with Cuban teacher Banderas. It's in Revs (the one above the Revolution nightclub) on the first three Mondays of every month, with lessons running from 8.30-11.00. It's proving very popular. I do have a modest proposal which is that everyone in Cardiff who ever teaches rueda should get together and agree to use standard names for moves. Monday, 3 November 2008. BayLit - Llen y Lli. This Welsh language workshop was part of Academi. S 'BayLit/Llen y Lli' festival in Cardiff Bay in October 2008. We worked with Mererid Hopwood. At left in the picture above) on this one-day activity. The chidren were all members of Academi's 'Sgwadiau Sgwennu' (writing squads) which are designed to develop the writing talent of the future. Most were from Year 9 in Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg, a Welsh medium Secondary school in the Vale of Glamorgan.
