Travel Writing, Photography and Music. The pictures in the travel photography galleries were all taken on a cheap, compact digital camera and have not been manipulated in any way. They are basically holiday snap shots. The pictures in the art photography section were all taken on a Canon SLR film camera and several have been manipulated using techniques available in Photoshop. The black and white photographs were developed by hand in a make shift dark room in a friend's kitchen. Round the World Gallery.

Travel Story: Last Chance

http://www.tomcoote.net/frazer.html

Travel Writing, Photography and Music. We scampered across the scorching sand from the bus to the wooden walkway that ran along the cool, clear waters of Eli Creek. The deep, dark rain forest filtered out the harsh, unforgiving, Queensland sunlight leaving mottled, flickering reflections on the creeks pure, pristine water. Desolation Travel: Turkmenbashi's Land of Fairy Tales

http://desolationtravel.blogspot.com/2012/06/turkmenbashis-land-of-fairy-tales.html

Friday, June 8, 2012. Turkmenbashi's Land of Fairy Tales. By guest author Tom Coote. I still wasn't sure if the amusement park was actually open. A few people were wandering around but the pedalos on the lake were still bound together and the train had yet to join me on the tracks.
