Welcome to the homepage of Thomas Cort

My name is Thomas Cort. I live in Gatineau. With my wife and daughter. I'm into computer programming as well as electronics. I created this website to share some of my personal projects and hobbies with the world. Ever since I took a Compilers and Interpreters class at Bishop's University. I've been fascinated by programs that compile and/or run other programs. I finally had a bit of spare time to build an interpreter, and developed 'edgar', a small LISP. I designed and built a terminal node controller.

BeagleBoard.org GSoC 2013 : Minix I2C Drivers for the BeagleBone Black. Tuesday, 10 September 2013. Building a custom FreeBSD SD card image for the BeagleBone. In an effort to figure out the clocking for the LCD controller on the AM335X. I built a custom FreeBSD. SD card image for the BeagleBone. I thought I'd share the steps I used to build the image as it isn't totally trivial. Though, the crochet-freebsd. Scripts really do help a lot. I decided to setup a FreeBSD virtual machine under QEMU. Log in to ...

Tales of Negligible Significance: I'm back?

http://keltok.blogspot.com/2009/08/im-back.html

Tales of Negligible Significance. Expounding on the trivialities of life since.um.now! Thursday, August 06, 2009. So there have been a couple of requests that I return to updating my blog. You know, so people can tune in and find out what is going on in my admittedly thrilling life. Sadly, computer access at the hospital is limited so my updates will mostly have to happen from home. And those I manage here will be brief. Posted by Keltok at 10:08 AM. Vancouver, B.C., Canada. View my complete profile.

Tales of Negligible Significance: As an Aside:

http://keltok.blogspot.com/2009/08/as-aside.html

Tales of Negligible Significance. Expounding on the trivialities of life since.um.now! Friday, August 28, 2009. You know what I think I like best about being on call? Being post-call. Right now this means I am at home early on a beautiful Friday morning, with the weekend stretching before me (though I'm on call again on Sunday), with the apartment to myself because Jord is still soundly asleep. This means I now get to do a whole lot of my favourite things all at once! Posted by Keltok at 8:51 AM. April a...

Tales of Negligible Significance. Expounding on the trivialities of life since.um.now! Monday, May 30, 2005. Well, I just got an email from the University of Western Ontario offering me a spot in their medical school for this September. That brings my total offers up to three: UBC, Dalhousie, and UWO. Guess I've pretty much got my pick of where I want to live in this country.barring the prairies, and honesty, who would want to live THERE? Posted by Keltok at 1:33 PM. Thursday, May 26, 2005. Tom Corsdt | The greatest WordPress.com site in all the land!

The greatest WordPress.com site in all the land! Lena Neyse is not a real translator. If you get a resume from a so-called Lena Neyse, email Lenatrans58@hotmail.com, watch out. This is not a real person. In fact, the somewhat impressive resume has been stolen, word for word, from another, supposedly real translator who posted her resume in Proz. By using gmail, the scammers do not allow computer savvy resume recipients to detect where the resume came from. In this case, it probably came from Palestine.
