Sunday, February 10, 2013. We moved to Texas. Never thought I would live in Texas. But we're really excited to be here! I've never lived this far away from family though, that's been a bummer, but we love it here so far! The drive down here was long and exhausting, but still fun. Owen and Conner do pretty well in the car, but after two days in their car seats.we were all ready to be done. Loves chewing on shoes and finds empty egg cartons, the remote control and cell phones entertaining. Has 4 teeth (two on the bottom, two on the top). Is sleeping all night again!

Zion, Zion, lovely Zion. Even though our winter has been so spring-like in mildness, we still opted for a nice overnighter jaunt to sunny southern Utah last weekend. Zion National Park is just really stunning. I kept thinking of the Gerard Manley Hopkins poem, "the world is charged with the grandeur of God / It will flame out like shining from shook foil.".
