Almost midsummernight, june 18th. Posted on June 19, 2013. Nighttour with Lutz. In this time of the year it doesn’t get dark untill 11PM. This was a very hot summer night. Walking the streets and canals of Amsterdam in t-shirts, at night, without getting cold doesn’t happen very often. The crowds in the redlight district. 30 second exposure. Terraces at the crosspoint of the redlightdistrict, Zeedijk and Warmoesstraat. Same spot as the previous shot, looking to the right.Lutz saw the photo potential.

Posted on December 9, 2012. Snowfall today, but it’s not cold enough . The christmas tree on Dam square. Everything is in christmas decoration, and even the snowfall helps a little to create the right mood. Handheld shot of shoppingmall Magna Plaza. This was build as Amsterdam main postoffice. Nowadays there are no more postoffices, only small agency’s. Amsterdam light festval on the Amstel river. This is the first edition, and I hope there will be many more. The Amstel river seen from skinny bridge.

Saterday, april 20th. Posted on April 22, 2013. Perfect day for a three hour tour with Cindy&Scott. Shadows at the Blue Bridge over the Amstel river. Walking along the Amstel river to the Skinny Bridge. Many people ask me what the hooks on every house in Amsterdamm are for. they are for oving stuff. Very may rowboats on the canals today. It seems like they have all been waiting for this day. (this is the same boat twice! One of the seven bridges over Reguliersgracht. Bachelor party season has started.

Sundaymorning, april 21th. Posted on April 22, 2013. Woke up at 6 on sunday, and couldn’t find my sleep again. So I looked outside, grabbed my gear and bicycle, and went for the ‘canals’. The good thing of early sundaymornings is, is that the whole city is still a sleep. And no touringboats on the canals, so there were some nice reflections. Golden Bend as seen from Leidsestraat. Corner of Brouwergracht and Prinsengracht. Nice statue on a door of a bar at Oude Waal. Cruise season has started too!
