Tom Freeman will be releasing his new photography book. Early Spring 2015, featuring 160 images from Vilas and Oneida Counties. Boathouses in Wisconsin are a piece of history. Tom Freeman's photography book features boathouses from the 1890s through the 1960s. It’s been over 30 years since the State of Wisconsin stopped issuing permits for boathouses. Boathouses built before December 1979 may now only be repaired within strict guidelines. Several of the boathouses that appear in Tom's photography book.
