I had a lot of trouble getting access from my ISD to set it up - it's technically easy once you get it, but they had to create the course for me and then I had to add the content. One group member is just over an hour from me in Michigan, and one is literally a world way in Bengladesh. Though a variety of conferencing tools, we've met multiple times to create a great tutorial on Google Docs, something that every teacher needs to use in their classroom. Monday, August 8, 2011. My student seemed very excited to use the website. Even before we were finished she mentioned how much she wanted to play other games, and see what she could do. It turned into a competition, which made the lesson very interesting. Already understanding how to use this technology, she didn’t have any questions, other than thinking aloud to her herself about which ocean went where. Posted by Tom Gunnells. Monday, September 5, 2011. What to do in Tokyo. I am starting to make a list of things to do for my trip to Japan. One thing is for sure, I want to ride the bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka. I have never been on one before, so that will be interesting. In Toyko itself though, there seems to be so much to do. I have made a list of five things I have to do. 1 Watch a Sumo wrestling match. 2 Go to Yoyogi Park. 3 Get lost in Tokyo and try and find my hotel. 4 Try my hand at Japanese national passtime, Karaoke.
