Friday, March 8, 2013. So that puts us in my parents' basement right now. And it's been a great opportunity to teach Hunter about respecting property and Sariah to become more socialized. We're so grateful for their hospitality and their willingness to deal with our crazy 3 year old and our little 7 month old who is currently dealing with separation anxiety from mommy. Life with the Westphals. Thursday, January 22, 2009. Yesterday we went in for our ultrasound and found out we are adding a little girl to our family. Kaden was with us when we found out and couldn't be more excited. When the technician said it was a girl Kaden's remark was "YES! He's pretty excited to be a big brother. We're in this Together. So, guess what? Thanks to the young women needing pictures from my camera, I finally buckled down and figured out what the deal was. It took a call to customer service (luckily they weren't in India and I could actually understand them), a few minutes online and bam! My pictures are now on my computer! Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Read next to the window. Camp out by the fire. And knock ice off your tree before the ice breaks all the limbs or worse, pulls it out of the ground. Every tree in the area lost something, and several were completely uprooted. In the end we were able to save this tree, but we had to pull it back into place with our truck and then tie it to a couple of poles until the roots grow back. Sounds freezing yet everything looked so beautiful! Give your kids big hugs from me.

Wednesday, August 25, 2010. I have been meaning to type this on here for a while but I keep forgetting. Riley is really into Star Wars right now. He has a light saber, and watches the movies constantly. When they got to the store he had his heart set on a storm trooper dart gun. Luckily they had one left and it was in the clearance bin (score) so they proceeded to the checkout to buy the coveted item. This is the conversation between Riley and the checkout clerk. That's pretty cool. What color is it.
