What to do? | Observations from Sam
https://samwilliams317.wordpress.com/2007/08/16/what-to-do
8230;general thoughts and ministry perspectives from a middle-aged ministry guy. August 16, 2007 in Church. My recent rant on the organized church and its implications raises a good question. What to do? If I, or anyone else, leaves their opinions and does nothing to act on their thoughts then we become just another. It doesn’t get any better than that! God Bless, Sam. What to do? Organized Church Ponderings – Spiritual Growth | Observations from Sam
https://samwilliams317.wordpress.com/2007/09/11/what-to-do-organized-church-ponderings-spiritual-growth
8230;general thoughts and ministry perspectives from a middle-aged ministry guy. Organized Church Ponderings – Spiritual Growth. September 11, 2007 in Church. This starts a series of posts on the organized church ponderings offered by me a few weeks ago. As I stated in the What to do? Post it should be the goal of each of us to want to change and not sit back and criticize the church. How many other “Christians” spiritual growth is tied to whether or not God works through their situations? I’ll adm...

To be or To do: That is the Question – Thoughts on Worship | Observations from Sam
https://samwilliams317.wordpress.com/2007/10/11/to-be-or-to-do-that-is-the-question-thoughts-on-worship
8230;general thoughts and ministry perspectives from a middle-aged ministry guy. To be or To do: That is the Question – Thoughts on Worship. October 11, 2007 in Church. In my Organized Church ponderings I issued the following statement:. I am tired.of seeing people plop themselves down in church and seemingly state in their actions Please Me . Where in the Bible do we see worship is pleasing and focused on men? Read Isaiah 6 and then dare to plop down again. In ministry which comes first, being or doing?

April | 2008 | Observations from Sam
https://samwilliams317.wordpress.com/2008/04
8230;general thoughts and ministry perspectives from a middle-aged ministry guy. You are currently browsing the monthly archive for April 2008. I wanna be just like you. April 21, 2008 in Family. I recently sat down with Cindy and made the following statement – “I’m becoming more like my dad each and every day”. The problem with that statement – I DO NOT WANT TO BE LIKE MY DAD. Are there days I regret this and seek to contact him? Most every day I do. I long to see my father accept me as I am today a...

Ridgeview Church: Grow
http://ridgeviewchurch.blogspot.com/2007/03/grow.html
Taylors, SC 29687. Spiritual growth is not so much about "doing" as it is about "becoming" – becoming more like Christ. It's a life-long adventure that takes patience, commitment, and intentional focus. It's not what we do along the way that is most important. What really matters is who we are becoming in the process. Ultimately, the Christian life is about building an intimate relationship with Jesus as the Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out, and loving others the way Jesus loves us.

8230;general thoughts and ministry perspectives from a middle-aged ministry guy. August 15, 2007 in Church. This post was originally an email sent out Thursday, August 9th. Ever think about how important a simple character can be? The character I am speaking about is the asterisk (*). I bring this up because, for all baseball fans, Barry Bonds broke the home run record this week by hitting his 756. BUMPER STICKER: Our church’s senior adults can beat up your senior adults! Seriously though we need the ast...
