Revelations: Missed opportunity
http://tomgoodfellow.blogspot.com/2012/09/missed-opportunity.html
It's a completely cool, multi-purpose blog. Tuesday, September 18, 2012. I had mentally written a post a week or so ago but never got around to actually, y'know, typing it out in actual words and now the time has passed. It was going to document the purchase of some particularly tasty bread, as well as our attendance at a couple of fine shows from Bill Bailey and Rufus Wainwright. It would have been called Rye And Gigs. Posted by Tom Goodfellow @ 3:59 PM. It's a completely cool, multi-purpose blog.

It's a completely cool, multi-purpose blog. Tuesday, February 15, 2005. Funny if you're from Lahndan. From the very marvellous This Isn't London. Posted by Tom Goodfellow @ 1:00 PM. Monday, February 14, 2005. It was my birthday on Sunday - yay! So we did a barbie ate Karen and Steve's with various Players, then headed down to the lovely Botanical Gardens for a picnic with mates by the harbour. This is when living in Oz really comes into its own - sunshine, wine and a wonderful conviviality. A brass unico...

Revelations: August 2004
http://tomgoodfellow.blogspot.com/2004_08_01_archive.html
It's a completely cool, multi-purpose blog. Sunday, August 29, 2004. Federal elections just called in Oz. This means six weeks of tedious biff-bang politics followed by a 50/50 chance of ousting John Howard for the far preferable, though ominously Blair-ish, Mark Latham. I would be so chuffed if we could get shot of Howard and Bush by the end of the year. Things that made me happy this week include:. 1) Arsenal, of course. 2) DVDs - Paris Texas, The Gunfighter, Orange County. Thursday, August 26, 2004.

It's a completely cool, multi-purpose blog. Monday, June 28, 2004. Kikoman while he's down. Chaotic times here, in a good way. Dorothy and Adrian have departed to travel elsewhere in Godzone before returning home, but Dan remains and Tracey (used to work with M) arrived on Saturday to stay for a week or two. Posted by Tom Goodfellow @ 10:12 PM. Tuesday, June 22, 2004. It's great having everyone here. It's also pretty busy, what with so many meals out, trips to various tourist sites etc. Tonight w...Meanw...

Revelations: July 2004
http://tomgoodfellow.blogspot.com/2004_07_01_archive.html
It's a completely cool, multi-purpose blog. Tuesday, July 27, 2004. How come I seem to be segueing directly from adolescence to mid-life crisis without any of the intervening responsible adulthood? An obsession with absurdly attractive French actresses. A pervasive sense of social inferiority. An understanding of tax, mortgages, pensions etc. An appreciation of fine wine, classical music and cars. An obsession with death. Posted by Tom Goodfellow @ 10:43 PM. Monday, July 26, 2004. Everyone involved was v...

Revelations: December 2004
http://tomgoodfellow.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
It's a completely cool, multi-purpose blog. Thursday, December 16, 2004. It’s been a real relief to have had the 12-week ultrasound and finally go public on M’s pregnancy. We’re both still sooo excited in a floaty kind of way. To answer some common questions:. 1) June 20th ish. 2) Barnaby/Barney Edward or Elizabeth/Beth Sarah. Most people are therefore hoping for a girl. 3) We’re not sure yet whether we’ll wait to find out the gender or to get the news at the next ultrasound. Can we bear not knowing?

Revelations: Gold medal pedantry
http://tomgoodfellow.blogspot.com/2012/08/gold-medal-pedantry.html
It's a completely cool, multi-purpose blog. Friday, August 10, 2012. I've been thoroughly obsessed with the Olympics for the last couple of weeks, which wasn't really what my circadian rhythms were crying out for following the late-night viewings of Euro 2012. The opening ceremony, the sporting brilliance and the presentation of the UK as a multicultural and forward-thinking nation have all been a balm to a soul exposed to years of the ultra-cynical Premier League. Revelations: Meme post (kind of)
http://tomgoodfellow.blogspot.com/2012/09/meme-post-kind-of.html
It's a completely cool, multi-purpose blog. Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Meme post (kind of). This is a callback to my friend Diane, a writer, whose blog The Spy and the Storyteller. I heartily recommend to anyone interested in creative endeavour. (I'm passing on the Liebster thing because I don't read enough blogs that are really eligible.). What problem do you dwell on over and over again, large or small? I’d have thought this was the same for everyone; mortality. It’s a bummer. Where police officers u...
