Wednesday, May 21, 2014. The SEC Marines Project (West Division). Here's the other half of my effort to paint Space Marines representing the 14 schools of the Southeastern Conference. Here's the teams of the West. Alabama (Due to this team's long history of national championships, I felt it right that they should be the standard bearer). Monday, October 13, 2014. This is a few years old, painted a little ways after the Shaggoth. Wednesday, October 8, 2014. This is Games Workshop's giant dragon ogre, called Shaggoth. The original figure holds a big two-handed battle ax, which I was't a fan of. So I cut the shaft in two, cut the ax blade in two and used green stuff to rebuild the lost pieces. Monday, September 29, 2014. At the risk of getting repetitive, I've opted for a warm off-white for Scarface, as opposed to a cold off-white for the Tohaa. I'm drawing inspiration for Scarface from the Titanfall video game. Never played it but I enjoy the artwork in it. Those mechs are friggin sweet. Here is the base.
