joyful wondering: Crafty Crafty!
http://joyfulwondering.blogspot.com/2009/02/crafty-crafty.html
Monday, February 9, 2009. So I LOVE February! I know, not that many people say that. it's cold, it's dreary, when I was in college, they called it "suicide month", but this February has been awesome for me! The Christmas rush is over and the mall is very slow, so I have not been working very much. So I've had more time at home with my adorable boys and lots of family birthdays to craft for! So here's some of my creations. BTW, the toes in the bottom picture belong to my adorable son! A little more perman...

However, they have this (very sensible) rule that you can't post photos without having ten posts first. so I'm putting pics of some of my creations here so I can link to it. Here's my wood-nymph costume I made for the Rio Rain Halloween thingy. Enjoy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. A Collection in the Making. A little more permanent. joyful wondering: June 2008
http://joyfulwondering.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 14, 2008. Well, I thought I was only fair and proper to openly declare a conflict of interest on the Rio Rain front. A few posts back I mentioned my delight at stumbling upon a new store: Rio Rain - in the Orchard Park Shopping Centre in Kelowna. It is chock full of sustainable clothing options but rather than repeat my gushing admonishments here, I will just refer you to my previous post. Well, after perusing the Rio Rain website. Links to this post. 3 Tbsp ice-cold water. 1/4 cup soy milk.

joyful wondering: March 2008
http://joyfulwondering.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 31, 2008. We are in the process of purchasing bicycles for myself and Asher and a trailer for the kids to ride in so that we can bike as a family. As I was researching ethical brands of bikes, I stumbled upon two very useful websites. One is the ethiscore. Website, which has a variety of consumer reports on different categories of goods (soft drinks, bikes, cell phones, sportswear, margarine, etc. etc.) and the corporate critic. Website which lists the ethiscore of top businesses. He has ha...

April 16, 2008 at 4:08 am. Fortunately, given my own talents in this area, My mother in law is an exceptional knitter. She whipped this pilot cap up while watching the rugby, using Sweet Pea’s cancer fundraising pattern. It reminds me a little bit of WaldorfMama’s gorgeous Waldorf Pilot Caps. WaldorfMama wrote a beautiful post. On how important knitted hats are for little ones. Entry filed under: Domestrivia. 2 Comments Add your own. April 16, 2008 at 11:40 pm. April 18, 2008 at 1:18 pm. Slow down … you move too fast | Domestically Blissed

Slow down … you move too fast. April 21, 2008 at 8:03 am. Over the last three weeks, our playgroup has recently had a few sessions with a woman from the Steiner federation. It has been an amazing experience, but I have struggled to. Write about it because it has affected me so personally. A lot of what this woman had to say was very hard to hear. Of course, I am paraphrasing terribly, and I welcome comments from anyone that thinks I have gotten the wrong end of the Steiner stick! Forms who they are.

WFMW – Natural cleaning made easy | Domestically Blissed

WFMW – Natural cleaning made easy. March 26, 2008 at 6:52 am. Its all very well to buy your cleaning products from places like BEE. But its even better to make your own. Now, I’m not hardcore on this by anymeans, but there are some situations where DIY is so easy and effective, you’d be daft not to. I know there are lots of flash recipes out there involving exotic ingredients like liquid soap, borax and essential oils, but quite frankly if the recipe has more than 2 ingredients I turn off pretty fast.

April 18, 2008 at 12:33 am. My obsession with all things Steiner is causing a few rolled eyes here at Domestically Blissed. Hubby laughed out loud when I read him this excerpt from Waldorf Education. There is definitely a Steiner/Waldorf “style” isn’t there? But then I remember that I believe. April 18, 2008 at 9:11 am.

April 24, 2008 at 9:13 am. Who is the most organised mama in blogland, tagged me for a Food Porn Meme. Now, I am delighted to talk about food – I’m a real foodie … I love reading about it, I love shopping for it, I love cooking it, and of course, most of all I love eating it. So this MeMe has been tonnes of fun. 1 What food do you consider the best date food? In other words, what meal or food item do you think is sexiest to eat in the company of someone you would like to look sexy around? Waking up at Vi...

Cheap at what cost. April 19, 2008 at 9:44 am. Its so easy to buy toddler clothes these days isn’t it? Just pop down to your local deparment store and you’ll find a ‘childrenswear’ section jammed packed with the latest fashion for tots. The prices will be extremely reasonable, the colours will be exceptionally bright, and you’ll have the added bonus of a Barbie, Wiggle, or SpongeBob on every second item. I found myself wandering through a few large department stores at a mall the other day,. 5 Comments A...
