When you come to a picture, take it! Travel and Photography by Tom and Connie Wallis. Monday, February 11, 2013. I made one last trip to Table Mountain for this season. This first picture is the same shot that I posted from the last trip but has improved significantly. Before I forget, if you don’t like snakes, you better not scroll down to the last picture. It’s hasn’t been the best year for spring flowers. There is almost no Lupine , but the Poppies are prolific and beautiful this year.

We’ve had almost 5 inches of rain in the last week and haven’t seen the sun since I don’t know when. But today the sun finally reappeared and I took the opportunity to head for Table Mountain. We arrived shortly after a snow storm but had some beautiful weather but not the kind of good light we were hoping for. Yep, that’s Dave doing what we love to do. This is what we were taking pictures of. Yosemite Falls in the morning sun. This is the view of Cathedral Spires from the meadow in front of El Capitan.

The weather and scenery were great but we had no internet so this is an after the fact post. This sunset is from Bastendorf Beach near Coos Bay. We've stay there before. Thee's a county park, an RV park and an Oregon State park all with in a mile of each other. It's all maintained by volunteers now. It's worth your time.
