On the Drops: My First iPhone App
http://onthedrops.blogspot.com/2009/09/my-first-iphone-app.html
A blog for jotting down thoughts from training, racing and any other thing. Thursday, September 03, 2009. My First iPhone App. Here's a screen shot of my first iPhone app. It is all a learning experience for me and to start things off I decided on a simple weight and calorie tracker. The calorie side is still a work in progress. I do have the track weight side going which includes a graph to show progress. This graph currently shows the data points, a last 30 days average and a goal weight line.

Team Ryco: October 2010
http://teamryco11.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
The quest to run a marathon utilising pink and orange. Sunday, October 24, 2010. Slowly slowly, running again. I have been absent for what feels like ages. It has taken a long time to recover from this tendonosis. I didn't run for 3 months, I did try a few times but it was far too painful to continue. Since the injury back in July(was it that long ago? Team Ryco have now decided to aim for Boston 2012 (or are we now considering NY or Tokyo? Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Yep - Its Flat. Co] Done and dusted!

Team Ryco: Nearly There...
http://teamryco11.blogspot.com/2010/10/nearly-there.html
The quest to run a marathon utilising pink and orange. Monday, October 4, 2010. Okay into taper before the big day! Do I hear a 'yay'? Taper is always a little weird - you look forward to it, love it, but in other ways it brings a strange slowing down of the body. that makes you feel raring to go and all sleepy at the same time. as well as the mental expectation of the big day! Goal one: run hard. Goal two: under 3:45. Goal three: its a secret. Let the HTFU run training experiment commence! Yep - Its Flat.

Team Ryco: June 2010
http://teamryco11.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The quest to run a marathon utilising pink and orange. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Ry) Ok, back online after a brief break this week. Have been taking it easy due to a few minor injuries. Am so paranoid about every small ache and pain.is the sore knee, hamstring, foot, hip the beginning of something much more serious? Or is it just a 'normal' ache and pain that you get with long distance running? Just when I thought my training was coming along great I had to take four days off this week. Four days! 8230; And...

The quest to run a marathon utilising pink and orange. Saturday, September 25, 2010. Who Are You Racing? Co] So this week has been about chugging through another steady week of running. but it did occur to me as I sat at work, on Friday afternoon at about 2 pm, struggling to get up from my desk and grab a caffeine hit. that not only was I very tired. but that I seemed to have pushed myself at run intervals that morning into a tired stupor beyond the norm. Now we all do it. We have those people we tra...

The quest to run a marathon utilising pink and orange. Sunday, September 12, 2010. Co] So its been a while since I ‘blogged’… but no time like the present for an update. Got another long run in today. Close to 3 hours in the Waitaks – hitting the concrete monster (looking at my new GPS watch managed to hit the heady heights of 9.50 min/km on my way up that one today) and scenic drive. Whats your scary car moment? Now home and (pleasantly? Tired… legs are shot! Good news 4 weeks to go. Scary! A Different ...

On the Drops: July 2009
http://onthedrops.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
A blog for jotting down thoughts from training, racing and any other thing. Saturday, July 25, 2009. Get fit with 6 minutes a day. I read in an article recently about the idea of being able to get fit and loose weight with only 6 minutes a day. This really intrigued me as I now have limited time to train. Joe Friel also blogged about it (http:/ is.gd/1CGsA). The catch? Well you have to do it at a very high intensity. But I couldn't just do 6 minutes! That although the title of the article is not sensible!
