Thursday, June 10, 2010. I was recently walking through a mall and passed by a card shop. Since I needed to get some cards, I went in and picked out the three that I needed. I walked up to the register to pay and the cashier said “Sir, all of our cards are buy three, get one free, you should go ahead and get one more.”. That sounded like a good idea, so I looked around wondering, what kind of card should I get? The problem was, I had already picked out the three that I wanted. It just wasn’t working.

It was one of the "perks" offered by the rental company that we used - a free hour of lessons. When we signed up for it, I spoke with the instructor and he convinced me that we also should sign up for an extra hour for $20 each. So we did.
