Links to this post. Thursday, June 4, 2015. She loves to princess it up. Goggles in the tub. Pledge of Allegiance on the way into church. Decked out of course. Riding in the house with her bunny (she named him Robby) on the back. Fur, shades and her favorite bunny friend. Testing out her rain gear in the snow&#...

Dear Daughters: May 2015

Sunday, May 24, 2015. If you would've asked me to predict the outcome of Hallie's tonsillectomy I would've given some typical pessimistic answer about lots of crying and whining and no sleep. I would've said something about drama-filled days of lying on the catch demanding ice cream and feeling sorry for herself. Not so, my friends. Not so. To put it plainly.SHE IS MY HERO. This is how she started the day off on the morning of surgery. Big fan of being pushed in the big girl bed right here. Thirty minute...

Dear Daughters: October 2014

Thursday, October 23, 2014. Tooth Fairy Comes to Visit. I might also mention that she stayed up half the night wailing in pain. So sad. The only thing that would calm her down is some Tylenol, an ice pack and some stroking of her hair. Broke my heart. One Miss Piggy stuffed doll, a dose of antibiotics and a pink cupcake with sprinkles later and she was feeling good as new and ready for the ride home. That evening she learned about the tooth fairy ritual. Oh what excitement! This tooth situation is one we...

Dear Daughters: November 2014

Monday, November 10, 2014. Bella: 2-3 months old. We enjoyed our time at home together a little too much. So much so that we really had a hard time parting ways. You mean you're leaving me? Crying was a rarity. Even first thing in the morning with a hungry tummy she was always very patient and polite with just a few subtle grumbles. After her breakfast she would help me wake up big sis for school. Often she'd drift off back to sleep right next to her. What's cuter than a baby sleeping? She's plenty loved...

Monday, January 26, 2015. Homecoming week was super fun for our Pre-K gal this year! I can't remember this one.but I'm gonna say Pink Day? Just a little ounce of silly oozed from this girl on our way to the Homecoming parade. She was giddy! We sat on the curb with her best pal Kadence, worked up a sweat in the sun and hunted down as much candy as possible. Oh and yelled at the floats passing by. Can the growing just stop for a moment already! Hal took in pre-game with her pal Marleigh. Links to this post.

Saturday, February 28, 2015. We love our Veteran. Daddy's heart was a wee bit full on Veteran's Day this year. This had a lot to do with it. And her annual home performance in patriotic attire also left him beaming. And the icing on the red, white and blue cake was taking in Hallie's Pre-K Veteran's Day performance. She did wonderful and put on quite a show! The girls humored us mommas by smiling big for a picture with their sweet teachers. The Pre-K kiddos did an awesome job! Links to this post. This wa...

Dear Daughters: December 2014
http://livinonhallietime.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 3, 2014. One Last Summer Hoorah. Going back to our final weekend of the summer. Hal braved the halls of the ECC for the first time when she visited her new classroom for meet the teacher night. She was both nervous and excited but her parents were oh so happy to be headed to Mrs. Hodgden's room with her. Okay, and maybe we were a little sad too. And then here's the whole eating part. We ventured over to where daddy and Hallie were doing some swimming. Her first dip in the pool was iffy.
