Sunday, January 10, 2010. For some reason, I tend to witness very strange things here in Utah. 2) Today, I saw a penguin on the I-15 freeway. I know it sounds like a scene out of Billy Madison, but I really saw it. I even turned around and drove by it a second time. If it didn't appear to be dead (or in a very peaceful sleep, as I like to hope) I would have captured it and kept it as a pet inside my freezer. It looked exactly like this one, only less lively. And on the freeway nonetheless?

Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Babies of the 80's. Since I was born in 1988 I thought I would pay tribute to the wonderful, and bizarre decade. I think we can all agree that t. He 80’s was the birth era of some pretty hideous fashion trends (ummmm neon thong leotards? But it also started a few trends that I think are quite brilliant. Ruffles, shoulder pads, acid wash jeans, and high waisted pants… I love them all! So I pulled out some 80's inspired pieces from my closet for a little trip back to my roots.
