Is The World Crazy Or Is It Just Me? Thursday, November 20, 2008. LA - what a trip. I couldn't have asked for a smoother flight. There was virtually no turbulence. I set my watch to Pacific time when I landed so when Michelle and I finally had dinner at 10:00 I wondered why I was so tired. By the time I went to sleep at midnight it occurred to me it was really 3:00 according to my internal clock. Monday, November 17, 2008. Is The World Crazy Or Is It Just Me? Sunday, November 2, 2008. Perhaps My Favorite Day. I like the idea of Winter Solstice better than Christmas. I used to enjoy Halloween when it meant nearly unlimited candy. My favorite "holiday" is still New Years Eve because it is a time of reflection on the past year and all it has meant. But I think nothing can compare to the day we turn back the clocks and get an extra hour. If only we could do it every day. November 6, 2008 at 9:57 AM. LA - what a trip.

Is The World Crazy Or Is It Just Me? Tuesday, April 22, 2008. We were up til 11:00 pm and up at 4:45 am so that Reruns could get me to the bus. Getting up at that hour was rough but Reruns didn't flinch. I rode a train for 6 hours and a bus for another 2 which has landed me in L.A. The train is definitely the way to go and beats Grey Hound (The Dirty Dog) by a long shot. . Just one more day of travel by vehicle and then it'll be just me and my feet. Monday, April 21, 2008. Last Fall I got new Verizon Wireless cell phones for my wife and me. We were using the lower-end LG VX-3000’s series phones that come with LG’s (much better) software instead of Verizon’s. It's trendy enough to pull in college kids and polished enough to appeal to the older crowd too.
