http://matthewtoomey.blogspot.com/2010/06/i-hate-harvey-danger.html
The life, times and observations of one. Sunday, June 20, 2010. I hate Harvey Danger. When I was just reminded of him and his band, I googled that ass and was glad to see the band had broken up almost a year ago. Their stupid hit song "Flagpole Sitta" gets me pissed off every time I hear it and strangely enough, I haven't heard it in a long time. However, I saw this. And was reminded of Harvey Danger. I hate this bullshit. I mean seriously. What does it matter if there are idiots breeding? Hell, I don't ...

The life, times and observations of one...: DADT - Seriously?
http://matthewtoomey.blogspot.com/2010/07/dadt-seriously.html
The life, times and observations of one. Thursday, July 29, 2010. The Armed Services recently selected 400,000 folks at random to receive a link to access a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" or DADT, survey. I was one of the lucky ones to receive this email and I just completed my survey. This is solely for the military people, as those not in the military wouldn't really understand the environment. 1 They are a creeper and get caught in a sex act or other lewd behavior. 2 They willfully tell someone they are gay.

http://matthewtoomey.blogspot.com/2010/06/army-birthday-and-more.html
The life, times and observations of one. Monday, June 14, 2010. Army Birthday and more. So today is the Army's 235th Birthday. Woot woot! And for the Army birthday, much like the Marine Corps birthday, we got to enjoy some libations. The following is your gratuitous pic of said libations and your humble author grinning like a 17 year old at a high school graduation party. Then, as I was sitting in my room - my heart skipped a beat. Knock-Knock-Knock (on my door). Knock on LTC T door). Walking past LTC T.

The life, times and observations of one. Friday, August 13, 2010. This is the end. While Jim Morrison was clearly on drugs, referring to a session of taking drugs or something else related to drugs, there are some strange allusions throughout the song that speak to what was just completed over the last 365 days. Of our elaborate plans, the end.". Can you picture what will be, So limitless and free.". Lost in a Roman.wilderness of pain.". There's danger on the edge of town.". We often rode the highway wes...

The life, times and observations of one. Thursday, July 1, 2010. Wasn't going to mention it, but then I just found that this guy has some PR behind him and is pretty open about it, so whatever. Chief Randy Lewis of the Millersport Police Department is serving alongside of us here in Ramadi. Freaking small world dude. At any rate, he has himself a good blog going as well and thought it may offer another, "non-Army dude" perspective of what's going on around here. Keep it clean -. View my complete profile.

The life, times and observations of one...: Attackers strike policemen's homes in Iraq's Anbar
http://matthewtoomey.blogspot.com/2010/06/attackers-strike-policemens-homes-in.html
The life, times and observations of one. Monday, June 7, 2010. Attackers strike policemen's homes in Iraq's Anbar. Some folks have asked me what I'm doing at my new assignment. Tracking these sort of events is definitely one of the aspects of it. Let's hope this stuff comes to a halt before long. Iraq (Reuters) - Gunmen and bombers attacked the homes of five police officers in Iraq's western Anbar province on Monday, killing one person and wounding at least 20 people, police said. In the al-Garma distric...
