All my striping is done by hand, with a brush - no stickers or transfers here. Paint used is 1Shot striping enamel, which can then be clearcoated or simply sealed in with a few coats of good quality wax. Click thumbnails for a larger view. Of course striping is not restricted to cars - I have also striped Motorcycles, bicycles, boats, crash helmets, shoes and much more. Generally speaking, if I can get a brush to it, I'll stripe it.

Although cars and automotive art is my real passion, I still haven't forgotten the more traditional styles of art. Living in Cornwall gives me a unique and beautiful landscape to draw inspiration from. Although many of my paintings are of more traditional subjects, they are not always done in the media you might expect. As computer art packages have improved, so I have found myself using them more and more. For example, Across the Salt (Left) was done completely on the PC with a proprietary art package.

I practised my graffiti art in and around London for many years, painting in the dark of night. My friends and I decided that it was a dangerous way to be living and contacted our local council. From this, we set up a graffiti group who were given grants, a place in the local park to paint and commissions for the local youth club. I am now running courses at local youth clubs and skate parks to teach youngsters how to practice this art form.

I grew up just outside London, England in a normal working class family. My Father is a talented artist, as was his Mother and her Father, so I guess that you could say that being able to draw is a family gift. There then followed ten years or so of working for a few months, then taking all the cash I had earned and travelling, first around England and then on into Europe. Although at the time it was a disaster, redundancy did offer the opportunity to try and make a living from my artistic abilities....
