I love this song by Johnny Flynn so much. And I loved The Detectorists (which it was the theme tune for). Jack sometimes put this on in the morning for me, makes me feel all wistful and wholesome. Jack and I went away for a night. It was nice! We went to the most idyllic nursery in the world: check out their summer house - makes me feel all wistful. I clocked a new Euphorbia. He even treated us to some new cushions (junk shop find of course). The pattern reminds me of Josef Frank.

Shed fixtures and fittings. I'm at my folks'. And it's nice to have outside space, even if it is freezing. I've been digging around, shifting boxes from place to place, getting a red nose. Also had to do a good clear out of my car in time for it's service, turns out I had two bottles of emergency ketchup in there: you never do know when chips might happen. I have a lot of Mother-of-millions plants. I love them. Because they're triffids: really aggressive growers that spill their babies into neighbouring pots which then grow and try to strangle smaller, more meek plants. Yeahh! Jack hates them though. Box Hill. Home of the best sheds. A couple of times recently we have been to visit friends in their hut on Box Hill. It's the best damned place ever: set in a valley full of little shacks all smothered in green. My phone doesn't work when I'm there so alls to do is wander around a bit and read the paper. My favourite huts are the really anarchic ones all covered in fine Toot: like this one with a Mel Gibson painting on the outside. And this one with many lamps. Some of the huts have a real earth ship.

Have been busy working on some new products for the Banderole shop, so here is a little peek at whats to come. These cushions are made from vintage cotton velvets and will come with a handmade pad stuffed with fluffy recycled wool. Here is the Jigsaw cushion it has a different colour on the front and the back, this one comes in racing green and pink, going to make a larger sized one too. Here is the pink side of the Jigsaw cushion. All will be in the shop soon and will be available as made to order.

Wednesday, 22 May 2013. I've got the blues, greens n budgerigars! Green and cream colourways and budgie tin. Pie dishes and loads of utensils. I'll be there with some of my recent finds including Cornish ware dinner plates, pudding dishes and side plates as well as jugs. I also have what is sometimes known as the poor man's Cornish ware, made by Chef Ware. Look at this amazing flamenco documentary I found. I don't know what any of the words are, but look at the pictures. It's so nice. I love flamenco. Our friend Matt we went to Uni with plays flamenco guitar amazingly so the sound takes me back a bit to sitting on his bed in a tiny room in halls, generally being stinky asses.
