Monday, July 30, 2012. Kaitlyn finished 4th grade, Lauren finished 1st grade and Alexa finished 3 year old preschool. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. More Visits with Cousins. We drove back from Baltimore on Wednesday. After a few hours break for Alexa's nap, we headed over to. Friday, August 19, 2011. 1st Week of School and New Job. It has been a busy week with Kaitlyn and Lauren's 1st week of school, and Bill starting a new job. Kaitlyn and Lauren seemed to have a good week, while Bill is settling in nicely. Alexa is adjusting to life without her sisters again. The 1st day she was a little sad, but she is getting used to it. Monday, October 4, 2010. It is amazing that school has been in session for 6 weeks already. Kaitlyn is still having a good year, but it is definitely tougher than 2 nd. Alexa is having a great year and always wants to go to school on her days off. She is always singing songs, and some she must have heard at school since I don't recognize them. This may not sound very funny reading it, but it was hilarious hearing Lauren talk about not going into 2nd grade if she did more work. Thursday, April 14, 2011. Well now that I have downloaded the pictures, I will just mention what is happening and hopefully, fill in what I missed in the previous 2 posts. Here is the a picture from the last night of Spring Break. Alexa was a little wound up after dinner. This is from one of the nights over Spring Break of Kaitlyn with Nana and Papa. Friday, August 27, 2010. I keep forgetting to write some things that I meant to include in this blog. Lately, all we seem to do together in this house is play games. Kaitlyn has been learning chess from Bill and seems to be enjoying herself. Bill wants me to learn as well, so I could be an equal partner to her. I don't know if I want to do that since I don't really like to do things if I am not good at them, just a little bit competitiveness inside me! She definitely got both of our competitiveness!
