Best CD Ever(of the week). Thursday, December 15, 2005. So I've been a bit busy.who hasn't? Well, the best CD ever is Beck's Mutations. Beck's first albums Mellow Gold. Solidified his position as a sort of Dylan-like poet of his generation. Some went as far as to say Odelay. Was a masterwork of late 20th century American culture; I'm not one of them. Needless to say, alot of people were anticipating this album. Mutations. 12 songs were written and recorded in 14 short days immediatly following the Odelay.
