For The Love of Honduras! Purpose. A History. December 5, 2011. So there I was, stay at home mom, with the aforementioned free time . I vividly remember the first artistic thing I ever did. Salt dough Christmas ornaments. I realized I was good at it and made a bunch. I still have the very first one I made – it is now 25 years old. (see photo). Rewarding to take paintbrush to canvas and watch the images come forth. I loved what I was doing. I am driven to create. And yet, somehow it seemed a littl...Decem...

Unfolding Dreams | For The Love of Honduras!

For The Love of Honduras! November 10, 2011. Denia and Maria. I am so proud of their work. It has been my dream over the years to find some enterprise that Maria could do from her home that would bring in extra income and thereby alleviate some of the financial stress they are under. As we move forward, I will teach Maria new skills and she will continue to assemble the jewelry pieces. It is my hope and prayer that one day soon, we will create true sustainability for her family through these efforts.

Re-entry | For The Love of Honduras!
https://fortheloveofhonduras.wordpress.com/2011/11/28/re-entry
For The Love of Honduras! November 28, 2011. I just came home from a one week trip to Honduras. Every time I am there, I am surrounded by the evidence of poverty. Everywhere you look, you see people in need. You can’t not. See it in Honduras. On this trip, we spent time helping one family meet some of their need. It is not enough yet and it is not sustainable, but my hope is that one day it will be. While I was there, it was all about helping others. Purpose. A History. →. November 29, 2011 at 7:17 pm.

For now, please pray for my sweet Denia who is having some health challenges. More to come. Thanks for reading. Follow Blog via Email. Join 16 other followers.

For The Love of Honduras! November 14, 2011. I had the pleasure of watching fireworks from my balcony last night. I am not sure why there were fireworks, but they were cool. And it was cool that I got to watch them from my balcony. There were fireworks in my backyard! I am so lucky! This is how I feel about the work I have been given the opportunity to do of late. I am so lucky to be able to use my talents and giftings to help other people. The Bottom Line →. November 17, 2011 at 10:30 pm. You are commen...

For The Love of Honduras! Let it Bloom, Let it Be Beautiful. November 6, 2011. View all 2 comments. When I was younger, I remember hearing “the old people” say things like: The older I get, the more I know…. or It has been my experience that…. or I have lived a long time and I know that…. and then they would share a piece of advice or sage wisdom. Or they would simply state that the world is going to hell in a hand basket! I believe I may now be old enough to begin saying things like that! The developmen...

Whatever people say I am, that's what I'm not: June 2005

Whatever people say I am, that's what I'm not. View my complete profile. The Perfect Family…. Its a long one. Didnt we have the time of our lives? The calm before the storm. Thursday, June 30, 2005. My busted up eye. This pic does not do it justice, believe me. Beware of Honduran girls. Posted by JMM @ 10:51 PM. I wish I had a better story. Like I said, that would've been a better story. The real one though. A 12 year old Honduran girl almost knocked me out. At least realize that there is a choice to make.
