Singular wisdom, aged to perfection. Laquo; Tuning Up. New Affirmations for the Chronically Low Self-Esteemed (and sick of it). Election Confessions and Reflections. November 6, 2008 by slanderwoman. I’m here to say that I am very pleased with the results of Tuesday’s election. No surprise, right? Now, two days after the election, I’m reflecting on my experience with this campaign, and my strong emotional attachment to all aspects of it, right through to today. Just some random observations. 6 I feel sad...

A new church, all equal, love jesus, pretty messed up, lead, follow, laugh, cry, serve, co-pastors, stories of brokenness and healing, smoker friendly, The Refuge. Tuesday, January 22, 2008. JENNY - sacred cows. This is a repost from jenny herrick's blog. So good. may we be people willing to give up things that limit Jesus. I've heard warnings to be ultra-careful about what words come out of the mouth. A negative declaration may come true. Okay, this is a little extreme, but I know someone who wi...These...

You will reach in and take what you told me long ago was yours for the asking. I give it up willingly, come get it, bluster me out of the same old shit. You alone got the cadence of my cha cha cha, only you can make me brave. Enough to dance it. lusting for you , like a deer pants for water, i am waiting for the. You made ...

A new church, all equal, love jesus, pretty messed up, lead, follow, laugh, cry, serve, co-pastors, stories of brokenness and healing, smoker friendly, The Refuge. Tuesday, January 29, 2008. Our friend sage had created some prayer beads that were helping him with mindfulness toward God. we were intrigued. so what cropped out of that was a house of refuge. For those that want to have a chance to create their own. SAGE: I pray with beads. I grew up Protestant, spent 20 years away from the church, and have ...

Singular wisdom, aged to perfection. Laquo; Day 2. December 19, 2008 by slanderwoman. I’ve decided to shut down the blog. This one anyway. I may leave presumed2Bme up for awhile, in case I want to talk about nail polish or something. Blogging was a great adventure for me for about 5 years, but I’m ready to move on and spend my energy on vocafemina instead. So goodbye Sophie, for now. And please tune into vocafemina. Instead. We should be posted and ready to go early in January. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Singular wisdom, aged to perfection. Laquo; Introducing Voca Femina. Palm Trees in December. December 14, 2008 by slanderwoman. It’s the ocean. We’re here in Florida, and although it’s incredibly windy today, the temperature is perfect for a walk on the beach. Perfect enough for this mountain dweller, raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and currently living next to the Rocky Mountains. For me, the hills are home, while the ocean remains a fascinating, exotic stranger. I bet we’re close! Palm Trees...
