Tonight's drinks: tea for her (herbal and unsweetened in her usual healthy way) and basil lemonade for me. tart yet sweet, herb-y and refreshing - like sipping summer through a straw. 1/3 cup of sugar. 1 1/3 cups of water. 1/4 cup of lemon juice. Leaves of about 2 sprigs of basil. Serves 2. one for you and one for your summer hang out buddy. Can you just listen to me instead? Because honestly, this warm, sweet, cinnamon-y piece of bread is more comforting.
