8230; and other matters of importance. Monthly Archives: June 2015. A poem about time. I’m 25 now. I’ve used up almost one-third of my life. At 4:10 pm I came into this world. With a small tuft of blonde on my bald cone-shaped head. And I received my first gift as a human on earth. Given to all brand new children, but diversely spent. For a while I used it to learn how to do. The typical things that a human should know. Eating and walking and talking and crying. Not to mention the moments I lifted my chin.

8230; and other matters of importance. A poem about time. I’m 25 now. I’ve used up almost one-third of my life. There have definitely been some highlights: winning the Patriot’s Pen in eighth grade, buying my first car, going to Ireland, jumping off rocks, seeing my nieces and nephews grow up, running a half marathon. But I WANT MORE. I can’t live the rest of my life with only that under my belt. I’ve got to go to more places and see more things and help more people. At 4:10 pm I came into this world.
