Tracy's Thankful Moments: February 2015
https://tracysthankfulmoments.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Say it isn't so . . . I am still in denial . . . last month we celebrated the 2nd, count them 1 - 2, birthday for my sweet baby, Jacob! But somewhere between then and now this sweet, silly, big brown eyed little boy has weaseled his way into my affections and has melted my heart. He has become the blessing I was promised in so many ways. We are so glad that he is a part of our family. I honestly do sit and wonder thou; has it really been two years? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, May 25, 2015. Easter weekend my kiddos received a wonderful surprise . . .as we were watching the afternoon session of General Conference there was a knock at the door . . .there stood 5 of their favorite friends (and family) in the whole world. Breanna, Emily, Kate, Lucy and Aunt LeeAnn were there full of smiles and ready to give hugs! It was a surprise hard to pull off because I was so excited they were coming. But not hard because I was more excited to have it be a surprise! She Loves to Run.

Tracy's Thankful Moments: Cherum Peak
https://tracysthankfulmoments.blogspot.com/2015/06/cherum-peak.html
Sunday, June 7, 2015. Over Memorial Day Weekend we were blessed with a visit from my brother and his family. On Saturday we thought it would be fun to go exploring, (AKA hiking). Paul chose Cherum Peak as our destination. Cherum Peak is one of the tallest peaks around and is located about 20-30 minutes west of Kingman. After turning off the highway and driving on a dirt road, sometimes steep, for about 10 miles we arrived at the trail head and began our adventure. And the wild flowers were gorgeous!

Tracy's Thankful Moments: January 2015
https://tracysthankfulmoments.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 8, 2015. Many where we live would like to tell you that Mother Nature played a cruel trick on us for New Years or that Hell froze over for New Years, but I believe we were given a beautiful gift! We woke up New Year's Eve Day to a beautiful blanket of snow! The kids were asking to go outside and play even before they had eaten breakfast. When there is snow around there are a few things my kiddos are sure to do:. Make snow angles,. Crawl through, roll around and end up covered in snow,.

Tracy's Thankful Moments: June 2015
https://tracysthankfulmoments.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 16, 2015. It's Time to for a Few Thankful Moments . . . Not too long ago I was surprised as I was overcome with intense gratitude as I watched him play with cars on John's car mat. . When we got the car mat for John we had to work SO hard, hand over hand, teaching him how to roll the cars along the roads, that I was in shock one day when Jacob picked up a car without any assistance and was driving his little car all over the city & ON the roads, even stopping at the stop signs! You just go...

Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family." - Thomas S. Monson -. Monday, August 10, 2015. The Beauty of Funerals. We had anticipated only going west once this year for Nate's family reunion in Idaho. But on July 28th, my Grandpa Gillis passed away so the kids, my brother, Jon, and I loaded up Peter Pan, the Beater Van, and headed to Utah. Sons snuggling up to Great Grandmothers too (her papa's name is Max, just like his). Subscribe to: Post Com...

Tracy's Thankful Moments: October 2014
https://tracysthankfulmoments.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. A First . . . Two weekends ago I did something I have never done before . . . Had a girls weekend with my three beautiful daughters and my wonderful mother. Grandma Sue had invited us to meet her in St. George, UT to see a musical production of The Little Mermaid at Tuachan. No boys invited, just us girls! I would like to think that my girls enjoyed the time they got to spend with me too! With two less kiddos around they were sure to get more of my love, patience and attention.

Tracy's Thankful Moments: December 2014
https://tracysthankfulmoments.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 26, 2014. The title of this post is more appropriate as time goes by . . . because it's about time I finally finished this post. We have these big mountains we get to look at daily and after three plus years have never been up to explore their beauty . . . until now! Paul took a day off when the kids had fall break and we headed to the Hualapai's to hike and explore. For Rachel a promise of getting to climb on rocks did the trick. A view of Kingman in the distance. I don't recall there b...
