For the love of men and music. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Have taken it upon themselves to become the most un-userfriendly file hosting site around. Does anyone know of a decent alternative? Posted by homoeclectic at 12:11 pm. Links to this post. Tuesday, October 10, 2006. Is the long awaited Take That. Comeback’ single. Doesn’t it sound like a poor man’s James Blunt? Or an averagely endowed man’s Ronan Keating? Someone please call Lulu up and tell her to sort the boys out. Links to this post. Is the deb...

Probably deserves a post of her own -...

For the love of men and music. Thursday, June 29, 2006. Was a singer and keyboardist who was signed in 1989 to Spaghetti Records. The story goes that he attended a Pet Shop Boys' concert in Glasgow in 1989 and gave a demo tape to Peter Andreas, the Pet Shop Boys' personal assistant. Peter Andreas contacted Cicero with an offer of artist management and later when Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe heard Cicero's material, they signed him up to their recently formed Spaghetti label. And That Loving Feeling. MP3: ...

Questions Bullshit In Parenthesis. Tuesday, November 4, 2008. The sky was full of dark clouds when I woke up this morning. But, I quickly watched the clouds drift, walking to my assigned polling location. By the time I was finished voting; the Sun was already out. I thought the whole thing was pretty symbolic. I love hearing the happiness and celebration outside my window. Hope. Posted by The Beej. I love hearing the happiness and celebration outside my window. Hope. Blog comments powered by Disqus.

Indie rock and photography, and a few other things I know. Saturday, February 28, 2009. Mmm, more cheese. The new store as all sorts of corporate nods to its "new" neighborhood, from Live Oak leaves decorating the ceiling to a Lakewood-centric timeline - Do you know what year the Corinthian Sailing Club was founded? On the cold-foods wall. However, if Lakewood ever wanted a place to hang out and bump into everyone in the 'hood, this Whole Foods will be just perfect for that. Mmm, more cheese. Oh, Oh, Os!

Indie rock and photography, and a few other things I know. Friday, December 21, 2007. Best of 2007 in Dallas' music. 2007 was an odd year. I thought I'd been so busy I missed out on great music. Didn't get out to get those fantastic albums that were made this year. Then I realized, nope, that wasn't it. There wasn't all that much made this year. There was no whittling done on this year's list. A good bit of scrounging, rather. 1 Carter Albrecht's unreleased album. 2 Doug Burr's On Promenade. Is licensed ...
