Life on Torsey Shores in Readfield, ME. Sunday, April 17, 2011. Nature 1, Torsey Shores Road 0. Most of the snow has finally melted here on Torsey Shores Road, with pockets of snow here and there along the road edge, but for the most part, the ditches and culverts have been doing their jobs.with one spectacular exception. After a night of torrential rain, there was a surprise awaiting the residents today at the large culvert just beyond the pit. The water is now draining nicely. Thursday, February 3, 2011.
