My adventures in plodding towards conception. Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Date on the Calendar. My c-section is scheduled for March 25 - 2 days before my estimated due date. Just having a date on the calendar quells some of my anxiety about going through labor and delivery again. The only way I would have a VBAC is if my water breaks and everything happens spontaneously and beautifully which is not a very likely scenario. How we got here. Friday, June 14, 2013. I almost quit in January.for many of the same reasons I quit 6 years ago.but that promise I made to Livi haunted me. The thought of her seeing me on stage, as whispered and hoped a year before, made me see the year through. My dad came in for the weekend to take in the festivities and to help with Livi. How we got here. Sunday, February 9, 2014. Oh all those TWOs. I have been waiting for this. This week marked a few milestones. Me going back to work, Livi at daycare full time, me going away for work for 5 nights, and Livi finally putting two words together. "Babba come! With her arms stretched out to her grandparents on Skype marked the first step towards a sentence. Next was "Dadda cup" pointing to Stef's coffee cup. So amazing to watch and listen to this process. I couldn't have said it better myself.
