As I spend this Christmas 2015 without my sons, I will be thinking about everyone else who also manages this festive season without those nearest and dearest to them. I can rejoice in the fact that my sons are with their Father, a mutually agreed arrangement, that allows us both to enjoy the festive season in turns annually. June 5, 2016. Blimey. I’ve always thought of myself as totally brand loyal. I love the brands I’m with, I’ve stayed with them whatever, I don’t deviate. I must be late in the game of multiple relationships. I now realise that they don’t always love me. It’s rather like finding that love is lost. But like any relationship, they aren’t always there. Long or short distance. November 10, 2015. I grew up with Cilla (Black), rest her soul. I watched ‘Surprise, Surprise’ and could never really understand why families had become separated when contact was surely possible. Yes, x lives in London and y, in Australia, but couldn’t you could save over how ever many years, rally together as a family and get those long lost relatives reunited? But now I understand. Or like me too, hope for some lottery win so that we can all be reunited in some way soon.
