To Teach Her Own. Wednesday, January 2, 2013. And here we are, a new year! Not even the Mayans apparently! I usually don't get too excited about New Years, and I don't become super festive about it, although inside I really am glad to have reached a new year. I suppose it is mainly because every day to me is a new day, and I am not a big fan of new year's resolutions -{sets me up (and 99.9% of others) for failure every time! September of 2012 we had been in the Southlake Town Square shopping for the little boys and did happen to notice a big tent under the Pavillion. We went to check it out and discovered that it was the Kiwanis Butterfly Festival! So, we paid for our entry and got to see all these cool butterflies! We fed them watermelon! To Teach Her Own. Friday, September 14, 2012. Week 3, and moving right along. We actually had to double up lessons due to doctor's appointments and a mishap with hubby's tires. No biggy because it was well worth the time! I was concerned that he was having issues with the short vowel "e" because he would mix it up with the "i" sound and missed it in some words.
