Monday, September 22, 2008. Yesterday on my way to Gap Creek Recreation Reserve to have a spill on my bike, take some bark off myself and hurt my hip/tail bone, I got a phone call from my mum saying "Congratulations". Of course I'm confused. I take photos sometimes. Sometimes they are alright, sometimes they are shit. I went out a few Fridays ago and took some photos. Sunday, December 14, 2008. To The North is a pretty great jazzy math rockish band from Brisbane, Australia. They really remind me of a band from Surrey named Meet Me In St Louis. Who had the same mathy sound but retaining the punk feeling to their music; much like To The North. Even though they haven't been around all that long (2/07) they have had several releases which include, a cd/ep-still available from Yellow Ghost Records. And a new 7" split with Ohana. To The North Live @ DIY Fest (2008).
