Monday, July 31, 2006. The UFO Building (Part Two). Someone asked me, "How is the living condition like over there? I suppose that is the main question everyone wants the answer to. Well, for us foundation students we are placed in Village 2, and as I have mentioned before, we upgrade as we move along in our studies. But nothing is certain, you may move to another village after one sem or you can probably be stuck in the same village for the next two years. Did I hear someone asking about the Internet?

Wednesday, August 30, 2006. After 17 years of Get-To-Know. Then I started primary school, which was the centre of communication. I soon picked up Manglish, all for the sake of fitting into the crowd. It didn't work in the early stages though, because my Chinese had a funny twist in it, and the fact that the language has 4 tone variations for each syllable, I always ended up saying things I didn't mean to say. There were chronicles of loss, exploration, listening, cooking, trauma and healing, and writing notebooks kept since I was 12. Was readying myself to read, rework, archive, share and burn. Check.
