New Forest Horse and Cycle. Five of us set out in the sunshine to complete the six mile walk included in the New Forest Horse and Cycle Event to raise funds for the Garage Youth Club. We did all get back none the worse for the exercise with muddy shoes but still standing to collect our medals and certificates. This is us at the end of our sponsored 6 mile walk this morning. Wednesday, February 04, 2015. 23 members set out from the Denny Wood campside in glorious sunshine! How come we are so lucky? With Barney the guest dog. A bit muddy in one or two places to start with but firm level going for the rest. Although the distance was much the same as usual, we finished at 20 minutes to 12, probably due to the fact we didn't loiter as much as usual, the was a bit of a bite in the wind in some places.
