http://rollingthunderranch.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Rolling with the Thunder. Just my ramblings about everyday life at the ranch! Thursday, June 28, 2012. Nearing the End of Season. I'm nearing the end of my goat milking season. Truth be told I'm lazy and I've got Miss Jenny Cow getting ready to calve and I don't want to be squeezing too many teats in one day. This is Tawny and she's a bit of a diva. Can't have a picture of her eating! And of course, there is Ivory! This is Chloe's baby girl who has yet to be named. The ears just crack me up! There is a l...

Rolling with the Thunder. Just my ramblings about everyday life at the ranch! Tuesday, March 27, 2012. The safety of edibles! Each year around this time I start frequenting thrift stores. Okay, who am I kidding? The other edibles on the ranch are doing swimmingly! No textile dyes, no ammonia dipping, no live electrocution found at Rolling Thunder. The chickens have been enjoying the sunny weather and the opportunity to roam the ranch. Eggs are once again found in the nest boxes. We've had a few s...Now g...

Rolling with the Thunder. Just my ramblings about everyday life at the ranch! Friday, July 13, 2012. Sometimes it's Rough Being a Mom! Jenny Cow here, thought I'd tell you about my day. THEY took all of my milk tonight! Even though one of the two legged creatures promised that I would get to see him in the morning, I left her a special gift in the milk stall. Sometimes it's important for a mother to make an impression. July 14, 2012 at 6:58 AM. Love all your updates and photos. Thanks for sharing.

Rolling with the Thunder: January 2012
http://rollingthunderranch.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Rolling with the Thunder. Just my ramblings about everyday life at the ranch! Thursday, January 26, 2012. The virgin wool has arrived. We have about 15 lambs on the ground now. I hate lambing. I don't particularly care for sheep. I don't eat rack of lamb or mutton burgers, I don't knit, I never understood Mary Had a Little Lamb. Shelly irritates me with her softhearted approach, and lack of ranch grit when it comes to cuddly fuzzy critters. Monday, January 9, 2012. Everyday comes with choices and decisio...

Rolling with the Thunder: I've Been Trying to Keep My Mouth Shut!

Rolling with the Thunder. Just my ramblings about everyday life at the ranch! Monday, July 16, 2012. I've Been Trying to Keep My Mouth Shut! Remember last week when I posted this picture? Shelly, Bean and Friend Gretchen sat down by the coops armed to the teeth in an attempt to thwart any other plans the bear had for an easy meal. No sight of the bear. The remaining fowl, checked out the trap for a few minutes and then went about their usual pecking and dusting. We baited the trap with some bacon, cr...

Rolling with the Thunder. Just my ramblings about everyday life at the ranch! Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Photo courtesy of Sooper Outdoorsy Guy and Hunter, Chris Kennedy. I didn't listen to much more, I was distracted by that darn chore list. This morning I saw a friend's post on Facebook about a bear that entered her yard overnight and it flipped on the highlight reel of our past bear adventures on the ranch. My Friend Chris and his r. Crystal's 11 year old daughter Taylor and a Big Ole Paw.

Rolling with the Thunder. Just my ramblings about everyday life at the ranch! Tuesday, August 30, 2011. A Funny Thing Happened. WARNING* * Imagination required, because my pictures stink! On to the funny. Do you know where Toys R Us used to be in Pueblo? Yep," She says. "It's rolling down the highway.". The point at which the tire was returned to the truck! What we don't understand is, how the tire stayed upright and rolled. It fell out from beneath of Tom Truck. I would assume that the bumper pu...Nothi...

Rolling with the Thunder. Just my ramblings about everyday life at the ranch! Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Okay, so I've been slacking on posts! I've not a viable excuse or reason. Izadora and I have been soaking up couch time and overdosing on milk from Jenny Cow! Denali getting some sun. Hamlet, Jersey and Denali letting Bad Penny get some herding practice in. Rolling with the Thunder: Multiple Harvests
http://rollingthunderranch.blogspot.com/2012/07/multiple-harvests.html
Rolling with the Thunder. Just my ramblings about everyday life at the ranch! Saturday, July 7, 2012. So today we harvested chicken. Last night the bear harvested some of our layers too! The oso, climbed up the fence of the coop and just peeled the wire apart. So tonight after we fried up our harvest Shelly, Bean and Friend Gretchen set out to rid the mountain of the chicken eating bear. Maybe I'll have pictures of bear skin rug to post soon, or I'll have a crazy story. July 8, 2012 at 6:50 AM.
