Thoughts become things - choose the good ones. Saturday, August 18, 2012. Coming up on a Year. I took some progress pictures last night as I went through my clothes (again! August 31st is the one-year anniversary of the first post on this blog. I was 261 pounds. This morning I am 181.6 (this week's low was 179.8), for 80 pounds lost in a year. I put together a clashing outfit of Salvation Army clothes and then realized that I like the way it looks! These pants are Levis' size 12! Keep up the good work.

Thoughts become things - choose the good ones. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. I hit 174 yesterday morning - 5 pounds away from my goal. 102 pounds gone. I'm so freakin close, that I get a little upset when I do dumb things, like eating out every day for 5 days the other weekend. Things that put on 4 pounds in 4 days. I was completely focused and on task last week and took it back off. Eat well 90% of the time (which is 9 meals out of 10, or 9 days out of 10). Exercise at least 1000 calories worth a week.
