Tuesday, August 30, 2011. If you or your property was affected by the flooding from Hurricane Irene:. 1) Document, Document, Document! Keep any and all receipts related to the event. Document the time spent working on your property. 2) Take pictures before starting work. If you have pictures of the property before the damage that is helpful as well. 3) Keep an inventory of damaged items from your house (washer, dryer, tv, furniture, etc). The town garage has containers to dispose of storm related debris.
