The renovation of a village house in Pont de la Taule, France which had been empty for 20 years. The attic was converted to provide 3 extra bedrooms. A self build project with some directly employed sub-contractors near Massat in France. The existing house was doubled in size and ready for occupation in 7 months from the initial call to prepare some sketches - just in time for the birth of twins! The work involved dismantling, repairing, modifying the geometry, reassembling and then erecting the two trusses, which spanned across a trapezium shaped building.
